Here at Whole Bean, we take great pride in our hands on approach and traditional drum roasting methods. Using single origin bean profiling, along with single and multiphase roasting, ensures each individual coffee bean is roasted to perfection.

Our Diedrich IR-7 is the perfect size drum roaster for responsive roast control and consistent results. Some would consider a 7kg batch roaster small in a commercial sense, with a smaller yield per batch. We roast more batches as a consequence, yet prefer the finer control and responsiveness the smaller bean mass affords us. To produce a quality product does take time, and we feel it is worth the extra effort.

Our philosophy here is simple, growth will never compromise traditional methods, quality or service. By setting this non negotiable standard, our dedication to Whole Bean coffee products will remain focused and intimate. No computer controlled mass production here, ever.

Ethiopian Yirgacheffe
Single Origin Coffee at its best. Citrus and Spice is the best way to describe this particularly bright coffee. It is hard to fault one of Ethiopia's Finest, perfect as a single origin espresso.

Kenyan AA
An African coffee of significant quality. Complex and balanced, offering High acidity, medium body and fruity sweetness. The perfect single origin.

Sumatran Kuda Mas
Long regarded as one of the finest Arabica coffees from Sumatra. Although uneven in it unroasted appearance, the results speak for themselves. Exhibiting Medium body, low acidity and chocolate like aroma this coffee is perfect for plunger or espresso preparation, and comes through milk great too.

Papua New Ginea (PNG) Kimel A
Arguably one of the best coffees this region has to offer. Medium intensity with a citrus sweetness and subtly floral. Perfect for Single Origin consumption.
